Eco-friendly Mexico City?

If you’re ever in the need of a place to sleep in Mexico City — one of the world’s most polluted metropolises — find it at El Patio 77, which bills itself as the city’s first “eco-friendly” B&B. There are eight renovated suites in the 19th-century building and two courtyards where breakfast is served. According to the site, the B&B recycles greywater and uses solar panels for its water-heater system. Rates start at US$70 per room. For US$105, two people get a king-sized bed and a private bathroom and balcony.
