Morocco and the Canaries
Despite its Nordic name, Norwegian Cruise Lines offers trips to some very sun-baked destinations. The Nine-Day Canary Islands and Morocco cruise leaves on a roundtrip journey from Barcelona on November 22. It stops in Casablanca, Madeira, the Canary Islands and Granada. Starts at US$765. If you’re thinking longer term, the 2014 edition of the cruise is shorter (eight days) and costs less at US$635. It has an extra stop in the Canary Islands, but is one-way to Granada. That sailing is November 26. ncl.com.
