Washington's winery wonder

A cliff-side desert retreat on the edge of wine country that brings you the finer things in life -- including some good old rock 'n' roll.

Wine, stunning views and rock 'n' roll
The Gorge Amphitheater is known as one of the most breathtakingly beautiful music venues in the country. It's home of the Sasquatch! Music Festival and the site of many historic concerts by bands like The Police, Pink Floyd and The Dave Matthews Band. If you love both rock ‘n' roll and wine tasting, then here's the perfect romantic getaway for you.
When you buy your concert tickets, book a Cliffehouse for two at the luxurious Cave B Inn at SageCliffe vineyard. Located at the Columbia River and the 1-90’s stunning entrance to Washington’s wine country, SageCliffe also houses a spa as well as a localvore-style restaurant called Tendrils. Your Cliffehouse and the restaurant are all walking distance from the Amphitheater. No parking hassels at the show!
If you go, here are some tips: if you can afford to splurge, stay in one of the inn's private Cliffehouses, where the views are dramatically better than those from the main building. Also, buy your wine at the gift shop before heading up to your room (the in-room bottle of the same wine is US$30 as opposed to US$18). And be warned: the service at Cave B can be slow.
Rooms in the main inn are US$175 to US$205 per night. The Cliffehouse for two is US$265 per night.
