Life after the Olympics

Whistler-Blackcomb, which hosted many events for the 2010 Vancouver Games, says it won't rest on its Olympic laurels and has been busy sprucing up its facilities for the 2010-11 ski season. Upgrades include doubled snow-making capacity, new and improved runs and terrains, and several new restaurants and food kiosks. There's also an Olympic Legacy Display, with memorabilia and a replica podium for holiday snaps. If you want to see for yourself, try your luck with their Love Snow - Dream Vacation contest (closes February 28), which includes airfare for two to Vancouver, five nights at the Fairmount Chateau Whistler, a four-day lift pass and a heli-ski adventure. whistlerblackcomb.com/lovesnow.
