A floating spa

Ah, spring. It’s the season that signals getting back into shape and feeling good in your skin again. Montreal’s new Bota Bota wants to help with the feel-good stuff. It’s a Scandinavian-style spa that’s housed in a 1950s ferryboat, but the digs are far from vintage.

Permanently docked in the city’s Old Port, the “spa sur l’eau” (spa on water) consists of five swanky decks, 20 treatment rooms and 678 portholes, some that are life-size so you can curl up in one and soak in the view post treatment.

A 60-minute massage is $90; 90 minutes, $130. The opening promo for the water circuit (sauna/steam bath, then cold bath/shower) starts at $45. Yummy facials and body scrubs start at $60 when paired with the water therapy. www.botabota.ca.
