I recently went on a Mekong River cruise on an Avalon small river boat and was very impressed with the detailed and persoanl services. 27 crew took good care of 34 passengers. The cabins are good sized with floor to ceiling sliding windows. The dining room was intimate with good local cuisine. Shore excursions were well planned and organized. They even clean our shoes after each shore excursion.
