Coast to coast, Canadian ski resorts have beefed up their offerings, adding hotels, lifts and runs. Here’s a quick list:

  • Among the latest additions at BC’s new Revelstoke Mountain Resort (www.revelstokemountainresort.com) are a hotel, high-speed quad lift — scheduled to open early this year — and an expanded terrain park.
  • Panorama Mountain Village, BC (www.panoramaresort.com), has been busy adding a new terrain park and building a permanent “big air” jump.
  • Kicking Horse, BC (www.kickinghorseresort.com), has added more than 12 hectares of gladed skiing.
  • The terrain park at Ontario’s Horseshoe Resort (www.horseshoeresort.com) has doubled in size.
  • Batawa Ski Hill, ON (www.batawaskihill.com), has replaced its old T-bar system with a new quad lift.
  • Quebec’s Mont Saint-Sauveur (www.montsaintsauveur.com) has spent more than $4 million on upgrades, including a quad lift.
  • Le Massif, QC (www.lemassif.com), has added over 10 hectares of new runs and upgraded its terrain park.
  • Skiers at Poley Mountain, NB (www.poleymountain.com), will have a triple lift, six new trails and a mogul run.
  • Newfoundland’s Marble Mountain (www.skimarble.com) has installed a new lift on the beginner hill, added two new runs and doubled the size of its terrain park.
