Harry Potter fans hop a broom to Florida

Muggles of the world: rejoice! You can now visit Hogwarts without traipsing all the way to England. Universal Studios Orlando just launched the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, an eight-hectare attraction that even includes the Hogwart's Express train. A turreted reproduction of the school is home to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, a ride which swoops visitors through a Quidditch match, an attack by Dementors and plenty of creepy crawlies. For adrenaline junkies, the Dragon Challenge ride features several near misses as two coasters go head to head, as well as the only inverted coaster in the world. This being Orlando, there are plenty of marketing tie-ins, so your brood can explore the "town" of Hogsmeade and pick up a wand, joke gifts, candy and even butterbeer featured in J.K. Rowling's books. universalorlando.com/harrypotter
