It’s being touted “the largest hotel in Scandinavia.” No kidding. Copenhagen’s new Bella Sky Comwell boasts two striking towers with 814 rooms, 30 conference spaces, three restos, two bars, a spa and a wellness centre. It’s eight minutes from the city centre, five minutes from the airport and adjacent to the Bella Center, a conference venue with a capacity of 20,000.

It’s the hotel’s Bella Donna floor, however, that’s getting a lot of hype. The 17th floor in tower two is for women only: quite possibly the first of its kind in Europe. Only women with key cards to the rooms can access the 20-suite floor, which was designed in collaboration with notable Danish women.

They emphasized that bathrooms are where the big bucks should be spent. The Bella Donna ones boast large towels, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryers, cosmetic and dressing mirrors, disposable razors, nail files, sanitary items and delicious hair and body products.
