The new zip line that connects Blackcomb to Whistler

The Sasquatch is a new two-kilometre (continuous) zip line in Whistler and said to be the longest in Canada and the US. It launches from high on Blackcomb Mountain, whizzes over the Fitzsimmons Valley, and ends mid-mountain on Whistler. The zip line is 183 metres above ground at some points and participants reach speeds of 100 kilometres per hour. Until October 12. Ages 10 and up only. Adults $119; youth 10 to 14 $99.
