NYC: what a TRYP!

US$100 per person for a night in NYC is a decent deal and when we plugged in late June dates to Wydham’s new TRYP New York City Time Square South’s online booking system that’s what we got (tax in) for a family room that sleeps six. Two people will have to crash on bunk beds though, so we hope your next trip includes kids; everyone else gets the choice of a combo of either king, queen and sofa beds. The hotel is on West 35th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues; its Wydham’s first TRYP in the US. Its family rooms (with living areas) include free high-speed wired and Wi-Fi internet (in fact, all its rooms do), two hi-def TVs, a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The hotel’s other notable rooms include its Samsung Experience room (a 60-inch flat screen TV, Blu-ray player, gaming console and popcorn maker) and its fitness rooms (treadmill, elliptical machine or exercise bike plus work-out clothing).
