This is the Habs’ year!

There’s no guarantee they’ll bring home the Stanley Cup this season, but 2009 will still belong to the Montreal Canadiens. The team is turning 100, and the whole year is stacked with centennial events that make a trip to la belle province a must for puckheads. The All-Star game comes to town in late January, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra will play at the April 2, 2009 opening of the new Canadiens’ Hall of Fame, and a special film, Pour Toujours, les Canadiens!, opens next December. Even the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto is celebrating the Habs’ hundredth in a special exhibit.
