A white-hot ski deal

Swap your kids’ gaming controllers for ski poles this winter and pay only $29.95 for three lift tickets. The Canadian Ski Council’s Snow Pass Program, now in its 19th year, is designed for nine and 10 year olds — grade four or five — and can be used at 150 participating resorts nationwide. Parents who buy a pass for their fourth graders can use it for two years or until the end of fifth grade. Thirty-one ski sites are taking part in BC, 21 in Alberta, one in Saskatchewan, two in Manitoba, 29 in Ontario, 57 in Quebec, eight in Atlantic Canada, and one in the Yukon.
