ALMIRANTE BROWN If you always opt for the quaint and quiet when you travel, consider staying at Teresita B&B. This home-away-from-home is a 45-minute train trip from downtown in Adrogue, adored for its cobblestone streets, lush trees and mom-and-pop shops in Almirante Brown County. Built in 1995, the adorable B&B has been in business for two years. RECOLETA Okay, so you prefer to be in the thick of things. Close to the finest restaurants and shops. The Art Hotel in the exclusive Recoleta neighbourhood is your ticket. PALERMO HOLLYWOOD For an area that’s green and groovy, crash at the Krista boutique hotel in one of leafy Palermo Viejo’s subdivisions, Hollywood (the other is Soho), formerly home to a lot of Argentinean film studios, now home to a lot of bars and restaurants. Built in the early 1900s, Krista is the former mansion of the personal physician to President Juan Perón and his second wife Eva (Evita) Perón.
