VANCOUVER In business since 1997, the Pacific Spirit is just the guesthouse for Fido, Fluffy and you. MONTREAL Le Square Phillips Hôtel & Suites is a downtown hotel, between Sainte-Catherine Street (which is lined with shops) and René-Lévesque, overlooking Phillips Square. Built in 1919, the building was originally a textile warehouse, and many of its 160 cathedral-like rooms have concrete pillars in them. Converted into a hotel in 2003, all the rooms have bathrooms and everything you need to make lunch or supper — a microwave, refrigerator and stove — as well as everything you need to eat it — cutlery and dishes.
